Happy Easter everyone! I had my photo taken with the giant Easter Bunny this past weekend. I got all dressed up in my new Easter duds and went to meet the bunny. I was a little unsure about him at first, but decided it would be OK to sit in his lap for a picture. I'm going to San Diego this weekend for the holiday. This will be my second time on an airplane (hopefully I'll do OK).

Movin' & Groovin'

I'm crawling! Well sort of - I've been tummy scooting for quite a while and I've finally gotten my belly off the ground and am beginning to really crawl. However, I'm still much faster on my belly, so after a couple of forward crawls, I resort back to pulling myself around the room on my tummy. All that really matters is that I'm mobile - and I am getting into everything! Mommy and Daddy are still trying to childproof the house, but I'm great at letting them know new things that they have missed almost every day. I'm also talking a lot more lately. I've been saying Dada and Baba for a while and just recently uttered Mama (although I don't associate these "words" with people just yet). I really like to hear myself babble on and on. I've also been singing a lot (especially in the morning when Mommy is trying to get a couple more minutes of sleep!). It's truly amazing how fast I'm growing and changing.

My Furry Friends

When told you about my family, I forgot to mention the animals that I love (hopefully someday they'll love me too!). The top photo is from last week hanging out in my crib with my kitty sissy Sophie. I love to grab her hair (it's so soft) and also her tag. She usually tolerates me for a short while (probably just to get close to Mommy) and then takes off. Next it's me with kitty sissy Tyra. She likes to hang around when I'm eating in hopes that I may drop something on the floor for her. Then it's me and Max - he lives with Siti and Papa, but always comes to visit with them. Max doesn't really love me, but he's always on good behavior when I'm around! As I'm getting older and more mobile, the animals aren't too sure what to think. They can still move faster than me to escape my curious hands, but they better watch out 'cause soon I'll be on the move. I really like them a lot - they make me smile when they're around (except I don't really like when Max barks). Daddy wants to get me a dog of my own, but Mommy says not until I'm older.... we'll see.
