Watch Me Go...

Look at me go! I'm moving quite well now and getting into everything. I am quite confident and getting around pretty quickly these days. Still not walking, but cruising around holding on to the furniture for balance. The weather is warm and I get go outside to play now. We go for walks and to the park, which I love. I'm really an outdoor kind of guy. I've been going to daycare on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and I'm starting to like it more (although it’s still tough when Mommy leaves). The top photo was taken there about a week ago. There are several babies around my age and we play and talk all day long. I'm usually filthy by the time Mommy gets there to pick me up. So now bath time before bed has become part of my daily routine!

This post is dedicated to two very special ladies in my life - my Siti and my Vavo! I want to wish you both a very happy grand-mommies day!! Thank you for all the love you gave to Mommy and Daddy. You taught them both to be good parents to me so far. You are both very special to me and I am lucky to have you in my life. You are patient and understanding and always willing to give your unconditional love. My parents never quite appreciated what you went though in life on their behalf, until they had me! They have a newfound understanding of the sacrifice and love you felt while raising them. Thank you both for all that you did and continue to do to help Mommy and Daddy be wonderful parents to me. We all love you very much! Happy Mother's Day!!

D-Y-L-A-N Spells Trouble

I have been changing so much lately I haven't had time to update the blog. All my time and energy has been put into my growth and development. And all Mommy's time has been put into chasing me around! I have mastered crawling (about 3 weeks ago) and am working on walking now. I love to pull myself up into standing position on anything I can (tables, chairs, couches, my exersaucer, and I can even scale the walls). Then I cruise around holing on to surfaces. The living room is my adventure zone. Chasing the kitties is one of my favorite pastimes. I have also recently discovered the kitchen and the cat food. I haven't yet had my first taste, but one of these days when Mommy's not watching... I am also sprouting new teeth like crazy - 4 on top and 3 on the bottom (and currently working on number 4!!). Watch out for your fingers around my mouth - I like to bite!

Since my last update I've been pretty busy - getting out and about and ejoying the nice spring weather. We went down to San Diego for a weekend and I got to spend time at my Vavo's house. I saw Grandpa Patrick and Aunt Sandie too. I had a lot of fun there. They put up a swing in the backyard for me and it was great! I celebrated my 9 month birthday last week. Siti and Papa came over and I got to taste my first beer (actually I only got to chew on the glass bottle since it was empty and they rinsed out all the good stuff!). This weekend I'm going to visit Siti, Papa and Aunt Brie in San Francisco.
