Choo Choo Teen

A couple of weeks ago Dilly and I took a train ride to San Francisco. He loved the train. It was even more special because he got his first taste of chocolate milk (and has been talking about it ever since!). We met my parents in Berkeley and spent the morning at a wonderful museum designed just for toddlers: Habitot. Dylan had a great time. His favorite exhibit was the water play area. He also enjoyed grocery shopping and the rocket ship. We will definitely have to go back soon for another visit!

Happy Spring!

Well, spring has sprung and we've been enjoying the beautiful weather. Dylan loves to be outside, so the warm (not yet too hot) weather we've had lately is perfect. This past weekend we were outside planting and tidying up the yard, so we can enjoy it in the coming months. Dylan helped his Vavo plant pretty flowers and strawberries, while his daddy did most of the hard work. He has his own lawnmower and wheelbarrow, so he can be just like his daddy (he loves to do what Daddy does). We also went to the UC Davis Arboretum to feed the ducks. Dylan loves the ducks. He chases them and giggles as they crowd around him waiting for him to throw them bread (however he eats it himself half the time!). His chattering continues and we can understand more and more what he is saying. His counting and alphabet are improving as well.
